The ISA 480 - ALEXANDAR V
The ISA 480 - ALEXANDAR V is a true ‘special edition’ that springs forth from the now famous 47-metre platform, confirming its trademark showpiece - the stairway connecting all the decks, leading from the stern ‘beach deck’ to the sun deck. This factor alone has granted the ISA shipyard worldwide fame.

The ALEXANDAR V, a 48-metre long steel and aluminium construction, is an original masterpiece of style and elegance. And ISA can be particularly proud of this, as they themselves designed all the internal furnishings in-house, without needing to hire an external interior designer. The owner, the architects Daniele Socci and Rita Luzzi from the ISA technical office, and project manager Sandro Spaziani, all worked together closely to produce an extremely refined interior ambiance of precious woods and delicate shades of brown, namely maple, ebony and teak, balanced out by valuable marbles. The interiors are modern and linear, with elegant, harmonious colour choices.

The client, whose name is being kept strictly confidential, is a young, dynamic entrepreneur, that ISA successfully conquered with its quality finishes and attention to detail, a strength boasted in all the shipyard’s products.

Apart from the trademark huge volumes that are just waiting to be enjoyed, and the light, airy internal areas, made so by the large windows, the balconies of the ALEXANDAR V  superstructure have been lengthened from those of the ISA 470. In this way, spacious shady areas are created both on the stern cockpit of the main deck - set up with dining table and sofas - and on that of the upper deck, where together with the dining table and chairs, and further towards the stern, a relaxation area with white sofas, poufs and low coffee tables, has been prepared. Both areas are shaded by two fixed awnings to allow for maximum enjoyment of these areas.

A boat to be enjoyed also, and above all, in the open air, and a fundamental principle of the Made in ISA design and construction philosophy to create a balanced relationship between the ship owner and the sea, something that the older-style super yachts left a little by the wayside, at times creating structural barriers impeding swimming access.

And apart from this new structural approach, ALEXANDAR V also stands out for its unusual colour: the hull is a ‘desert sand’ colour, with an ‘oyster white’ superstructure.

INTERIORS
The whole yacht is dominated by three different woods: ebony, maple and teak.

Main deck
The warm, welcoming feel to this yacht is almost tangible as you enter the main deck living area to the stern through the large French doors. The beautiful modern furnishings are created from various shades of brown: large white fabric and leather sofas, low coffee tables in dark brown leather, ebony and with a central glass panel. Amidst the windows, all around the room stand columns upholstered in light brown leather with stainless steel inserts. These 4 columns can then be found in the dividing structure between the living and dining areas, at the centre of which an etched glass panel with a design representing the boat’s profile, acts as a divider, creating privacy for entertainment. The dining table, chairs and all the surrounding furniture is in ebony, in striking contrast with the teak flooring.

Access to the owner’s cabin in the bow, is granted from the left side of the boat is from the living area and kitchen, or from the right side through the light foyer area, with valuable polished Navona travertine resin flooring and teak walls.

The owner’s cabin is simply enormous. At the entrance, after having passed by the maple dressing room with leather inserts and ebony flooring, an ebony and dark leather vanity table stands opposite the owner’s study. The double bed provides the heart of the room, with a leather bed head and 2 ebony bedside tables with light leather tops. Opposite the bed, an ebony TV unit with leather inserts in the same colour as the bed head, dominates. A total colour contrast is then provided by the white carpet, the maple walls and the mirrors above the bedside tables.
The bathroom too, is spacious and light. Entirely in maple and Arco Iris onyx, it is equipped with two his and hers washbasins, an extra-large shower in shades of brown Bisazza mosaic on the front entrance wall and Arco Iris onyx marble walls and Jacuzzi included in a marble base with a teak top.

Lower dec
The lower deck accommodates 4 guest cabins (two doubles and two twins), and the crew quarters.

The style is in keeping with the rest of the yacht, with maple walls and furniture, and teak flooring, doors and wardrobe doors. The bed head and bedside tables are finished in leather. Everything is in onyx, maple and teak flooring in the bathroom, and the showers are decorated with arco iris onyx mosaics in shades of brown and white.

The lower deck lobby is all teak, even the polished Navona resin travertine floor stringers at the centre. The lobby extends towards the bow and the luxurious captain’s cabin, beyond which we find the comfortable crew’s quarters.

Upper deck

The upper deck layout of ALEXANDAR V is unusual and differs from that of the previous ISA 470. You enter the media room from the stern cockpit, with identical finishing, both in terms of furniture and colours, as the main living room. The large TV unit dominates the room, with its avant-garde entertainment systems.

The VIP cabin immediately follows. With a large double bed in the centre, this cabin is furnished with 2 ebony desks with light leather tops, and the same leather is repeated in the strip on the tops of the bedside tables and in the bed head. Ebony at the entrance and carpet at the centre of the flooring. The bathroom, with 2 washbasins, is in line with the others described previously. The large bathroom window gives this cabin a very light and airy feel.

Towards the bow of this deck, we find the wheelhouse. After admiring the red leather sofa and armchairs, your eye is immediately drawn to the control room. Innovative once again, the control room was created by a collaboration between ‘Team Italia’ and the staff of the ISA shipyard. This new model control room not only boasts the most advanced navigation systems in an ergonomic and practical layout, and clearly integrated, but also allows you to control all the devices of the auxiliary navigation control room, in just a few simple steps and in absolute safety, with touch screen panels used for WHA functions. And a touch screen panel also controls the automation and monitoring of the various boat sub-systems, through a Lloyd's Register approved central system with AUT - UMS marking (machine not attended).

Sundeck
The sundeck is divided up into two separate areas. Towards the bow, we have the dining area, duly located under the shade of the enormous roll bar fitted with further fixed awnings, and set up to include barbecue, dining table, large white sofas and armchairs. Then towards the stern, at the middle of the deck, there is a bar table with stools integrated into the enormous Jacuzzi. Just beyond the swimming pool, we find a large, and very comfortable sunbathing area towards the outside, with darkened windows to give guests more privacy. A sundeck designed for the host who happily welcomes guests aboard, and wishes to enjoy his yacht, and particularly in the open-air.
