History
When travelling the world in September 2004 and discovering the best the decoration sector had to offer, the founders of Mundos Perdidos collected pieces they believed would have the ability to transmit their owner into a dream world, and create a home environment that is a true reflection of the soul.

After the success of their first collection, they naturally progressed onto creating their own pieces. They now work in tandem with an inspired team of designers who understand the company ethos and have helped to make the Mundos Perdidos brand as easily identifiable as it is today.

Based in Portugal, upholding local knowledge and traditions whilst maintaining the highest standards of production are central to the Mundos Perdidos ideology. They are also firm believers in sourcing the best young curative talents to bring a fresh design aesthetic to the constantly evolving brand.

It’s impossible to look at Mundos Perdidos today without seeing the influence of its creators and their passionate spirit of adventure, which reflects in the daily effort to contribute beautiful, original pieces to their customers’ homes.

‘Our pieces are part of a clearly defined project – a lifestyle that creates a strong impression and complicity between extreme warm sensations and refined freshness. We surprise ourselves on a daily basis in order to surprise the customers, every time they visit us,’ states owner Filipa Neves.

Placement
Mundos Perdidos intentionally position themselves as a company that establishes its own rules and makes its own choices, without forgetting the ideas and thoughts of their regular clients.

‘Our typical customer is the one that still tries to establish a strong sensorial relationship with their surrounding environment – one that is still capable of being critical, enlightened and autonomous by opposing the regular choice,’ says Miguel Pereira, marketing director.
